Connect Claude to your workout log
If you already talk to Claude, let it see your training. LiftChat works as an MCP server: connect your account once and the agent can review your progress, build a routine or log a workout. Changes show up in the open app right away.

How it works

https://app.liftchat.app/api/mcp - 2
Add a connector
In Claude: Settings → Connectors → “Add custom connector” → paste the URL. In Claude Code — the command below, then /mcp.

What's inside
What the agent can do
Read your profile, routines, history, exercise stats and progress review; create and edit routines; run a workout set by set; log past workouts.
Read-only is an option
Grant read access only — the agent won't even see the tools that change anything.
Revoke in one tap
Your profile lists connected agents; “Disconnect” closes access at once.
Clients
Tested with Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop), Claude Code and MCP Inspector. Other clients with remote MCP and OAuth — ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI — should connect the same way.
Questions
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol — an open standard for connecting AI agents to outside services. LiftChat gives the agent tools: routines, workouts, stats, exercises.
Does it use my LiftChat AI allowance?
No — your agent does the thinking; LiftChat only serves and stores the data. Your plan's limits on routines and history still apply.
Is it safe?
Sign-in uses standard OAuth 2.1 with a consent screen; the agent never gets your password. Limit it to read-only and revoke it in your profile any time.
What can't the agent do?
Payments, account deletion and referrals aren't available over MCP.
Which agents does it work with?
We've tested Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop), Claude Code and MCP Inspector. LiftChat is a standard remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1), so other clients with that support should work too: ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI, Cline, Continue.
